Yumemi Trunk has adapted the legend of Urashima Taro which is deeply rooted in Japanese people’s culture tracing it back to the legends recorded in the “Records of Ancient Matters” and “Chronicles of Japan”, as a modern fairy tale. This is a new type of puppet theater in which dialogue has been reduced to the minimum while body movement and the art of puppetry come together.
